About Me
Simon Bisland-Cook is the Founder and CEO of 4i Water Services and has more than 20 years’ experience within the water treatment, water hygiene and compliance industry.
Having progressed through hands-on engineering, supervisory and senior operational roles, Simon founded 4i Water Services in 2010 with a clear objective: to build a technically capable business that delivered a higher standard of engineering, service and accountability to its clients.
His engineering background has remained central to the company’s development. Recognising the need for more accurate and dependable chemical dosing technology, Simon designed and developed FEBRUUS, 4i’s own range of dosing systems for the control of bacteria and management of water quality within complex water systems.
Under Simon’s leadership, 4i Water Services has grown from its engineering roots into a significant specialist water-services business, supporting clients across healthcare, defence, central and local government, education, commercial property and hospitality.
Despite the growth of the business, Simon remains closely involved in its technical and operational direction. His philosophy is that senior leadership should understand the work being delivered on the ground, and he continues to contribute to engineering solutions, complex projects and the development of the company’s technical capabilities.
Simon has built the culture of 4i around four principles: technical excellence, integrity, precision and value for the client. These principles continue to underpin the company’s approach as it grows and develops long-term relationships with major organisations across the UK.
Simon is a qualified Authorising Engineer (Water) and a member of the Water Management Society and Institute of Healthcare and Estate Management.
